Gum Technology wants to be known as the company to come to for technical support and service. We will always work to improve our service and capabilities. We will be recognized as a solution company, not just a provider of ingredients. We have no desire to be the biggest, but it is our mission to be the best.
Mission Statement
- Gum Technology will constantly strive to be the best service company to look towards for solutions, innovations and help. We will do this by having partners instead of customers, realizing that the success of those with whom we work, is our success.
- The principals of honesty, ethics and support override the desire to profit. Profit will come by treating our working partners with integrity and the sincere desire to see them prosper.
- Our employees are our family. Our partners are our extended family. We will provide for them accordingly.
- Honesty and respect for others is not a policy, it is a way of living and doing business.
Ethical Statement
- In industry, profit is the goal. If we do not profit, we cannot survive and be useful to others. We have proven, over the last almost 30 years, that profit can be pursued in an honest and ethical manner, and we will have it no other way. Our products will always be labeled appropriately; there are no secrets. Our specifications will be realistic; we will not offer vague or overly forgiving specifications. We hold ourselves to the highest standards because we know our customers deserve that and because we know that we are capable of meeting those standards. We will never mislead a partner, and if we cannot offer a solution, we will find someone who can.
- In the event that something does go awry, our customers will be notified immediately and we will accept responsibility. We will not pass blame, we will rectify the situation.
- We hold our vendors to the same standards as we hold for ourselves. We are only as good as the products we accept. We only work with vendors who have proven that they respect our pursuit of pure and ethical business.
Confidentiality
Needless to say, we maintain all confidentialities, as we would expect our confidential information to be respected. We regularly sign non-disclosure and confidentiality contracts and that is reasonable and warranted in business. However, Gum Technology believes that a company is only as good as its reputation and it takes just one indiscretion to destroy a lifetime of good work. As such, we guard the private information of our partners with zeal and tenacity.
